About Bob

Bob has over 35 years experience of working within Security and investigations. He has a special interest in the dynamics of human behaviour honed initially during his first career as a Detective with the City of London Police and further developed during his time as a social sciences lecturer at City -University of London.


As a founding member of the Universities Centre for Investigative and Police Sciences (CISPs)he was responsible for designing and developing short courses for amongst others the Serious Fraud Office . He also designed an innovative  fraud risk awareness programme for the EU Counter Fraud Agency (OLAF) which he delivered to Nations seeking membership of the Union.


In 2010 Bob set up his own consultancy CFIL Global and has worked with many organisations from SME’s to corporates both within the U.K. and internationally. The foundation of his work is the self developed BASIC © (Behavioural Assessment System to Improve Communication) and complementary Effective Conversations© Systems. Whilst initially conceived as tools for those tasked with dealing with issues impacting on the profitability and security of organisations variants have successfully been designed for Auditors, Sales, Negotiators,Managers and HR professionals.


Bob is a firm believer in collaboration and enjoys working with complementary organisations like Paradigm to create unique high quality practice ready programmes and approaches which focus on human behavioural dynamics and positive relationships.
